Artist Bio:
Kate Monaghan grew up surrounded by nature on a small farm in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Her mother, who runs a Waldorf-style daycare, taught her early in life to embrace nature with curiosity, wonderment, and respect. After spending many years traveling around the world and working in restaurants, she found the time to slow down and reconnect with her home through creating jewelry that embraces the natural world around us, and turning that passion into the Milk Thistle brand. The majority of Kate’s work uses flowers and plants foraged from her property, sealed in resin to be enjoyed forever.
